Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Entry-Level Electro-Mechanical Assembly Associate to join our operations team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning technical skills, and building high-quality products.

You will be trained to assemble Omega TMM presetters according to established processes and specifications, with opportunities to grow your technical skills over time.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble basic electrical and mechanical components following work instructions
  • Learn to read and interpret assembly drawings, diagrams, and bills of materials (BOMs)
  • Follow standard work procedures to ensure consistent quality and accuracy
  • Perform visual inspections to confirm parts and assemblies meet requirements
  • Assist with system builds, testing, and final assembly as skills develop
  • Pack and prepare customer orders for shipment as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Participate in team meetings and company events

 

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Technical school, trade program, or vocational training preferred but not required
  • 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, automotive, construction, or similar hands-on environments
  • Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply

 

Technical & Math Skills (Trainable but Important)

  • Basic understanding of:
    • Measuring tools (tape measure, ruler; calipers and dial indicators are a plus)
    • Mechanical and electrical components (training provided)
  • Ability to:
    • Perform basic math (fractions, decimals, simple measurements)
    • Convert between units (inches, millimeters – training provided)
    • Follow step-by-step instructions accurately
  • Comfortable learning how to:
    • Read simple technical drawings and assembly instructions
    • Use hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies

  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and openness to feedback
  • Organized and safety-focused
