Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Entry-Level Electro-Mechanical Assembly Associate to join our operations team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning technical skills, and building high-quality products.
You will be trained to assemble Omega TMM presetters according to established processes and specifications, with opportunities to grow your technical skills over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble basic electrical and mechanical components following work instructions
- Learn to read and interpret assembly drawings, diagrams, and bills of materials (BOMs)
- Follow standard work procedures to ensure consistent quality and accuracy
- Perform visual inspections to confirm parts and assemblies meet requirements
- Assist with system builds, testing, and final assembly as skills develop
- Pack and prepare customer orders for shipment as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Participate in team meetings and company events
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical school, trade program, or vocational training preferred but not required
- 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, automotive, construction, or similar hands-on environments
- Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
Technical & Math Skills (Trainable but Important)
- Basic understanding of:
- Measuring tools (tape measure, ruler; calipers and dial indicators are a plus)
- Mechanical and electrical components (training provided)
- Ability to:
- Perform basic math (fractions, decimals, simple measurements)
- Convert between units (inches, millimeters – training provided)
- Follow step-by-step instructions accurately
- Comfortable learning how to:
- Read simple technical drawings and assembly instructions
- Use hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies
Professional Skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and openness to feedback
- Organized and safety-focused
