The OmegaTMM that you see today is built from 75 years worth of advancement in manufacturing technology with 43 years of specializing in presetting. 2022

Innovations Launched at IMTS 2022

Our team at Omega TMM, in collaboration with Spoon Events and BZDesign, designed a brand-new booth layout to launch our new branding “Made to Measure, Made in the USA”, new OPTIK software, and new products: EVO and EVO+

Customers First

The  John F. Nuccitelli Center for Customer Excellence facility is opened in honor of Nuccitelli’s significant contributions in laying the groundwork for our foundation and the 40th Anniversary of the first presetter made back in 1980.

Consistent Innovation

Omega TMM launches three new products within the Tool Measuring and Inspection space; the new Helios Heatshrink/Presetter Combo and the Vue Series Inspection Systems.

Omega Tool Measuring Machines (TMM) evolves to full Industry 4.0 readiness with world-class partners in tool lifecycle solutions and best-in-class financing.

2018

New Introductions

Omega launches new tool measuring machine products, including SOLIS, creates an industry leading 10-Year Warranty, and enters the stone grinding industry.

Completed Re-Brand: Omega Tool Measuring Machines

Management completes the rebranding to Omega TMM and fully relaunches the entire presetter line under the new brand.

2017

Introducing: Omega by Parlec

Transitional branding on presetter products introduced to the market at IMTS 2018 in Chicago.

2017

Parlec Sold

Parlec Tooling is sold to Techniks. Presetter becomes a stand-alone USA-based manufacturing business owned by Mike Nuccitelli and Ron Ricotta.

2010

Gerardi Partnership

Parlec partners with Gerardi for distribution of Driven & Static Tooling in Europe. Parlec begins distribution of Gerardi angle heads in China.

2009

Expansion in China

Sales offices are opened in Tianjin, Xian, Wuxi, and Chengdu to expand the China presence.

2006

Worldwide Expansion

Parlec continues to expand its world wide footprint by opening a Wholly Owned Foreign Enterprise in Nanjing. This gives the company full sales, engineering, customer support and distribution capabilities on 3 continents.

2004

Acquires Bristol Tool

Parlec acquires Bristol Tool. Driven and static tools are added to Parlec’s extensive product line. A new sales, engineering and distribution facility opens in Bristol, England.

2003

Nanjing, China

Parlec enters the Asian market with the opening of a sales and service office in Nanjing, China.

1998

Additional Expansion

Parlec further enhances its product line to include Workholding. Construction of a 58,000 square-foot plant addition begins.

1997

ISO 9001 Certification

Parlec becomes ISO 9001 Certified for Quality Management. Parlec’s sales triple from 1992-1997.

1994

Parlec Purchased

Mike Nuccitelli and Ron Ricotta purchase the company.

1992

Boring Tools

Parlec begins to manufacture and distribute its own line of Boring Tools.

1985

Move to Fairport, NY

Parlec builds a new 42,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility just outside of Rochester in Fairport, NY.

1980

The First Presetter

The first Presetter Tool Measuring Machine is produced.

1977

Additional Product Lines Introduced

Parlec expands its product line with the introduction of Toolholders, which are sold as Numertap and Autofacer accessories.

1973

Introducing Product Lines

Rudy Steiner buys Parlec with partner, Tom McAvoy, producing and distributing Numertap and Autofacer product lines.

1966

Parlec Supports Iconic Growth

Parlec emerges as a leading job shop of Rochester’s business icons at the time: Kodak, Xerox and Bausch & Lomb

1957

Parlec Forms Lasting Reputation

Parlec acquires a solid reputation for quality and reliability in Rochester and its surrounding areas.

1948

Parlec Founded!

Parlec is established in Rochester, NY as a job shop specializing in the manufacturing of Sulky Hubs.
