The International Manufacturing Technology Show 2024 in Chicago was a resounding success for Omega TMM. This year, we had the pleasure of introducing our newest team member, Micron, the Ambassador of Eagle Eye Precision. The week was filled with groundbreaking technology, inspiring conversations, and, of course, an abundance of excitement surrounding our new products and mascot.

Micron’s Debut: A Soaring Success
Micron, our bald eagle mascot, made his grand entrance at IMTS 2024 and quickly became the star of the show. Representing the pinnacle of precision and American-made quality, Micron embodies the very essence of what Omega TMM stands for. Visitors from all corners of the globe flocked to our booth to meet Micron, snap selfies, and learn more about the story behind our new Ambassador of Eagle Eye Precision. His presence not only drew crowds but also sparked meaningful conversations about the importance of precision in manufacturing.
Showcasing Cutting-Edge Technology
At Omega TMM, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of manufacturing technology, and IMTS 2024 was the perfect platform to showcase our latest innovations. The star of the show was our new flagship machine, Astra, which left attendees in awe with its unparalleled capabilities and advanced features.

Additionally, we demoed several other groundbreaking technologies:
- Angle-Head Release on the Fortis Pro: This demo showcased the versatility and precision of our Fortis Pro, impressing visitors with its advanced engineering.
- 3D Cam on Presetter Exactus: Attendees were captivated by the precision and functionality of the 3D Cam, demonstrating how it enhances the Exactus presetter’s performance.
- AutoFocus Feature for Exactus Lite: A technological advancement for our entry-level tabletop machine, the AutoFocus feature was a highlight for those seeking high-quality, affordable solutions.
- Not far from the Omega TMM booth over in the South Building at SolidCam we demoed our all new presetter ORION powered by REGO-FIX. Read on about ORION below in Partnerships!
Moreover, our interactive kiosk allowed booth attendees to independently view all machine spec sheets, offering a modern, user-friendly way to explore our offerings. This feature was a big hit, providing a seamless and engaging experience for visitors.
A Fresh and Modern Booth: A Collaborative Triumph
Our booth at IMTS 2024 was a standout feature of the event, thanks to the successful collaboration with BZDesign and Spoon Exhibits and Events. The fresh and modern design of the booth created an inviting atmosphere that drew visitors in. BZDesign’s Designers Kelly Vars and Kelsea Ennis attended the show, capturing important moments with photos and videos, supporting the kiosk, and supporting the marketing team with Live social media coverage. Coupled with Omega TMM’s experience from two previous IMTS shows, the graphic design by BZDesign and the architectural prowess of Spoon combined to create a visually stunning and highly functional space that perfectly showcased our brand and products.

Engaging with Industry Leaders and Powerful Partnerships
IMTS 2024 provided a unique opportunity to connect with industry leaders, peers, and potential customers. Our powerful partnerships were a highlight of the show, showcasing the collaborative spirit that drives innovation at Omega TMM. One of the most impactful moments was the launch of our new presetter, ORION, powered by REGO-FIX. This groundbreaking technology was featured as a larger-than-life photo wall in our booth, while the real machine was proudly showcased in the SolidCam booth. We had the honor of touring the SolidCam booth with both the REGO-FIX and Omega TMM leadership teams, emphasizing the strong partnership and shared vision for the future of manufacturing technology. We are deeply grateful for the collaboration and support from our partners, and we look forward to achieving great things together.
Celebrating American-Made Quality
Omega TMM’s commitment to American craftsmanship was a recurring theme throughout the show. Manufactured in Fairport, New York, our tool presetters embody the essence of American quality and reliability. This dedication to domestic manufacturing not only supports the local economy but also ensures that we maintain the highest standards of quality control. Visitors appreciated the emphasis on American-made products and the assurance of superior quality that comes with it.
