Recap of Omega TMM’s 2023 Tradeshows: PMTS, TICE, Shot Show, and EASTEC
FIRST HALF – TRADESHOW RECAP
The first half of 2023 has been an eventful period for Omega TMM, as the company actively participated in several tradeshows – connecting with industry professionals, showcasing their cutting-edge technology, and strengthening partnerships. SHOT SHOW:
To kick off the year, Omega TMM’s West Coast Regional Sales Manager Tim Burlee connected with firearm industry professionals and customers at the SHOT SHOW in Las Vegas. This exclusive show, limited only to shooting, hunting and outdoor trade and commercial buyers and sellers of military, law enforcement and tactical products and services, is a new venture on Omega TMM’s radar. This experience provided valuable insight into the dynamic of the show and research for future tradeshow exhibiting plans – with the potential of presenting our presetting machines and solutions at the Supplier Showcase in 2024.
The International Surface Event (TISE):
In continuation of Omega TMM’s ongoing work with GMR Quality Stone Products, East Coast Regional Sales Manager Nick Wiktorski was present in their booth at The International Surface Event in Las Vegas. Getting the chance to connect with key contacts and develop new opportunities within the stone industry, he was able to show off grinding wheel measuring technology and further expand Omega TMM’s reach outside the world of metal cutting.
Precision Machining Technology Show (PMTS):
In April, Omega TMM joined the precision machining community at the 12th biennial PMTS event in Cleveland, Ohio. The company proudly exhibited its latest technology, including the EVO and Solis presetters, Matrix 4.0 data transfer system, and Optik tool measuring software. Attendees were captivated by live demos performed by the exceptional Omega TMM team, showcasing the accuracy, reliability, and advanced features of the showcased products. Furthermore, PMTS provided an excellent platform for Omega TMM to connect with industry partners and discuss the implementation of their Industry 4.0 Solutions.
EASTEC:
Similar to PMTS, at Eastec Omega TMM highlighted their entry-level EVO, all-in-one Solis, and Matrix 4.0 Solution. Exhibitors saw heavy foot traffic throughout the 3 days of show, bringing in a variety of attendees from throughout the New England area and beyond. The team from Omega TMM got a chance to connect with local customers, network with partners, and expose their products to new faces.
Both PMTS and Eastec gave Omega TMM the opportunity to highlight several of the following products and solutions:
Solis: The Ultimate Heat Shrink and Measurement Combo
Omega TMM’s booths at PMTS and Eastec drew attention to the Solis, a high-capacity all-in-one heat shrink and presetting machine known for its exceptional speed, reliability, and accuracy. Engineered with two spindles to meet demanding needs, the Solis features cutting-edge technology, including a highly efficient induction head, cooling cans and automated measuring routines, capable of continuous, fast-paced heat shrinking operations. This machine always leaves a lasting impact on attendees – as there is no other machine at the same price point on the market.
The All-New EVO: Market-Leading Accuracy and Options:
Both booths also featured the EVO, an entry-level presetter released at IMTS last year that offers unrivaled accuracy, repeatability, and a range of options. With its cast iron construction, 10.5″ touch screen, and match ground 50 taper spindle, the EVO sets the standard in the table-top presetter category. At the shows, the EVO sported a custom American flag wrap. The option to personalize the machine with custom vinyl wraps – showcasing customer brands and logos – sparked great interest among attendees.
Matrix 4.0: Simplifying Tool Management and Connectivity:
Omega TMM’s Matrix 4.0, an affordable tool management solution that seamlessly transfers presetter data to CNC machine control, stood out as a relevant and valuable tool. By simplifying the process and making it operator independent, Matrix 4.0 represents a crucial step toward achieving a fully interconnected factory. The integration of Caron Engineering’s MiConnect in Matrix 4.0 exemplifies productive partnerships and cost-saving process improvements.
Strong Partnerships and Industry Collaborations:
At Omega TMM, building partnerships based on real shop floor challenges is a priority. PMTS provided an excellent opportunity to connect and reconnect with valuable partners such as Caron Engineering, PTSI, TDM Systems, and Gardner Business Media. Eastec furthered connection opportunities with Caron Engineering, as well as valued partners like Fagor, Wolfram Manufacturing, and Walter. These companies contribute to Omega TMM’s commitment to providing efficient solutions and industry leadership.
The team at BZDesign, photographer and graphic designer Kelsea Ennis, also played an integral role in supporting and promoting Omega TMM’s presence at PMTS.
Looking Ahead:
With the successful completion of spring tradeshows, Omega TMM is excited to announce their upcoming fall schedule, featuring events like Gosigerfest, Southtec and Wisconsin Manufacturing & Technology Show.
